As a producer, you should always be ready to shoot no matter what. The inability to be adamant about your preparation as a producer on a job could cost you time and money. Before a scheduled shoot, it is in your best interest to map out your production set, test out cameras and lights, charge all batteries, and make sure everything is clean and orderly.
